During a 120-minute appointment in our office, Dr. Hoffarth will go over your medical history, your goals, ailments, key findings of your lab result, and nutrition guidance. Together, the two of you will create a highly detailed treatment plan. Should you decide to become a BioFIT patient after your consultation, the treatment plan and medication or supplements (in a 3 month supply) are ordered and your next blood draw is scheduled 12 weeks later along with a 60 minute follow up with Dr. Hoffarth at 14 weeks at which time a review of new labs is discussed as progress assessed.
In person initial appointment
The first appointment with Dr. Hoffarth must be done in-person at BioFT Medicine. During an initial session with a patient, we cover everything from an extensive health background, to innovative lab testing and nutrition review and together, we create a comprehensive health plan.
Follow-up appointments are fully virtual.
Phone or in person appointments
Quarterly follow-ups are done remotely, it's strongly encouraged you see Dr. Hoffarth via zoom.
We strive to accommodate your busy schedule and allow Zoom, phone, or Facetime appointments when necessary.
the first thing we start with is the intake process. Please allow yourself at least 15 - 30 minutes to complete your health history. It is a very detailed to give Dr. Hoffarth the most comprehensive profile of how he can best understand your current state of health. Once you have completed your intake form, we can schedule your appointment for your blood work in house, and perform a DEXA body composition scan, and schedule your initial consultation with Dr. Hoffarth
The next step in the process is obtaining your 12 hour fasting blood draw and completing your DEXA body composition scan. This appointment will only take a half hour at most. We will also collect some basic paperwork from you, and confirm your 2 hour initial consultation with Dr. Hoffarth scheduled 2 weeks from your lab draw.
While you are a patient you will have 24/7 access to Dr. Hoffarth through the patient portal. It is encouraged that you contact for any of your concerns or questions throughout your care so any modifications necessary to your care plan are carefully monitored.
